Evelyn holds a Bachelor of Science degree in International Trade & Marketing as well as an Associate's degree in Photography. Her past roles include working at HGTV Magazine as an art and style editorial assistant, The International Center of Photography as a black and white darkroom technician and teacher’s assistant, an archiving intern at The Richard Avedon Foundation, and a studio intern at Hearst Magazines (among a slew of many other fun jobs and internships).
In 2023, she attended the Eddie Adams Workshop for emerging photojournalists. In 2024, she attended the Yale Writers’ Workshop. Currently she is a member of the Women’s Fiction Writer Association.
In 2022, she was honored with the AI-AP award for one of her images documenting backing female vocalists and dancers in the music video industry. In 2023, her work documenting British singer and songwriter, Holly Humberstone in Rolling Stone was also awarded the AI-AP award.
When not photographing, she is probably at her nearest NY Public Library or outdoors at her local park. She enjoys reading and writing in her time off and finding new baking recipes to (badly) try out •ᴗ•
